I was listening to my XM radio yesterday and heard the new Wierd Al song “You’re Pitiful”, a spoof of James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful”. Honestly, I didn’t really pay attention to it. I didn’t even know Wierd Al was still around.
What caught my attention were the DJ’s remarks following the song. She commented that James Blunt absolutely hates the song and is considering suing Wierd Al. That would be the dumbest thing he could do! Don’t do it. You will bring him way more attention than he deserves. James Blunt should be honored a spoof exists of the song.
Reminds me of when the RIAA sues a company for illegal music distribution.
