Last week I got an early Father’s Day gift - the new and improved Nintendo DS Lite. So I have had it for a week now and I am very impressed so far.
I have only played a handful of games and they have all been pretty fun. I love that it has WiFi built in and that I can play random people or friends over the Internet.
Earlier this week I also found out that Opera is developing a browser for the DS. It will be released in Japan on July 24 so hopefully we will get it here by the end of the year. I hope to get the necessary hardware to run DSLinux on it as well.

After seeing Josh’s DS Lite and jealous that he could play MarioKart on it, I just had to get one myself. I have owned a PSP since the day it was released in the U.S. Needless to say, I wasn’t very impressed with the game playing on it. I have owned the DS Lite for a couple of weeks now and have already played it more than my PSP. Thanks for destroying my social life Josh!
