I am making more of an effort to market myself more. I know that I can utilize my blog a lot more than I have. There are lots of goals that I have made to accomplish this.
One of the items on the list was to create a LinkedIn profile. I still have to personalize my profile, add connections, etc. but that will happen over time.
For those of you who don’t know, LinkedIn is a social networking site that is primarily used for professional networking. The idea is I have a person I know that I add to my network and that person knows other people. These people can then help find jobs, services, recommendations, etc. I have heard great things about it. It seems to be another great tool the Internet provides for job seekers.
So let’s make some connections and build up our profiles (assumming if you don’t have a profile, you will create one) together. Currently I have a good job but I think it is always necessary to add to your network.
