Check that out http://shwetha.mine.nu , the author may even share its source code if you ask him/her. the version hosted at that url, is rather old, the author has the latest running on his own site.

Regarding current photosharing sites, I don't really like flikr. My absolute favorite is photobucket.com. (sorry for resurrecting an old post)

I like your idea about the feed that would send photos to a digital frame. That would be so awesome! Since we are so far away from family I try to keep photos posted to myspace so everyone can see Jackson growing up. We're hoping you can hook us up so we can come home...no pressure or anything ;) Miss you guys! We are ready for a Mario Kart tourney as soon as we get back!

I never really found a photo sharing site that I like. Flickr is OK but, like you said, it's lacking. I eventually ended up installing Coppermine on my server and started using that. It too is lacking in features but with it being on my server, I feel like I have some semblance of control over it. There's no RSS feature but at least it's on my domain.

I couldn't agree more. I think that the next big social network will be be totally distributed and involve networking blogs together. We've been having discussions and trying to figure out how to build plugins that will enable that functionality.

The best way to get noticed is to know people. Every job I've ever been hired for has been the result of knowing someone who helped me get that job. That's how I got my jobs at Dixie College Concessions and at Anderson Lumber in high school, but it didn't end then. I got my job at Disney based on who I knew and who knew me. I figure there are a lot of people who could do any job, and employers are most likely to hire the people they expect to like and trust. The best way to prove that you're likable and trustworthy is to have a reputation with people already at the company you're applying to. So the best thing you can do to get noticed is to have lots of friends. I've also been noticed when I entered dance contests... I won a hat in a dance contest once. Eveyone noticed that. And every now and then (if ever), I get noticed at the very bottom of Josh's blog's long list of links.

Ha, ha...you had to use a disposable camera. That's funny. Did you get the pics developed yet? I can't imagine NOT having a digital camera anymore...

You're right Lance. LSU looked great last night. I mentioned they would do well this year. It would be nice to see them up against USC though. Now about halfway through next season you will see LSU start losing games, if history repeats itself.
